The following comments, statements, and formalities mentioned do not affect your statutory consumer rights.
Our satisfaction guarantee is for the peace of mind of our clients both old and new, so you can buy promotional goods knowing that in the unlikely event of something going wrong you will not be left with a batch of goods which you can’t use or are not fit for purpose.
Whilst every claim under this guarantee will be dealt with under its own merit we feel that there should be some terms and conditions to discourage abuse of the guarantee.
1) Delivery:
a) If your products are required for a specific event or by a specific date please ensure that this date is noted on your order confirmation, failure to do this will result in your claim for a late delivery being dismissed
b) This guarantee does not apply to orders being delivered outside the UK or from outside the UK to any destination inside the UK
c) Any damaged deliveries must be refused from the courier; acceptance of goods from the courier removes the courier’s liability and therefore will result in your claim under this guarantee being dismissed.
2) Product:
a) On some occasions you will be offered a like for like product which may differ slightly from that which is advertised on our website or catalogue, please ensure that you clarify exactly the specification of the products that will be delivered with your account manager
b) The photographs of products on our website or in our catalogue are for representation purposes only, we can not guarantee that the actual product will be an exact match of the colour pictured, please request a sample if this tolerance will be an issue, and claims for product colour difference will be rejected should a sample not have been requested.
3) Print:
a) We guarantee our print quality, should you receive your order and there is damage to the print please report this, please note that claims will only be upheld if the products where delivered in our standard lead times to allow for print drying times.
b) We will always request a pantone colour code for each colour you require printing (excluding cmyk printing) should you not supply a pantone reference we will print to the closest possible match, no claims for incorrect pantone reference will be upheld should no pantone reference be supplied.
4) Proof:
a) You will be supplied with a final proof before print, this will show you the details of your order and is a very important document, this should be thoroughly checked for spelling mistakes, artwork size, fonts, positions, colours and every minor detail, we will print your order based on the final signed proof. No claims will be upheld if the products are printed as per the final proof. Also no claim will be upheld if a signed final proof is received by fax only. Email sign offs are not covered.
5) Payment:
a) Claims under this guarantee will only be accepted should your payment method be by BACS transfer or by Cheque Payment. Payment by Credit or Debit card is exempt from this guarantee and no claim will be upheld in the event of your order being paid by card.
b) No claim will be accepted should the goods not be paid for in full.
6) General:
a) Goods remain the property of Yellow Pig Promotions until payment is received in full
b) Yellow Pig Promotions is a trading name for Yellow Pig Ltd
c) No personal liability against the directors or staff of Yellow Pig Promotions will be accepted
d) In the event of a claim arising from an Act of God the claim will be refused
e) In the event of a claim arising from war or terrorism the claim will be refused
f) No claim will be accepted after 14 days from receipt of order
g) All claims must be received in writing
h) All claims will be settled within 180 days from receipt of claim.
i) Yellow Pig Promotions Reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any given time
j) The managers decision is final
